The GOOD, the BAD & the plain UGLY!

Smoke Bans kill businesses - FACT!

Not at all surprising to this writer that one Jane Doe Ellison has reared her ugly head, up and over the parapet, as she attempts to claim her tiny bit of fame through bashing the easiest target ever (the smokers) by enforcing the enactment of the Plain Packaging proposals. The mere fact that the 'Public Consultation' showed a massive majority AGAINST the proposal seems to have had no effect on her - even though she wasn't Health Minister at the time of said PC! Such is the seeming strength of the PC brigade - it seems that everyone (bar one) is scared sh*tless of upsetting them! Ellison is just another 'wannabe' who will be discarded like an old slipper once the job is done (as was Soubry) - if the job gets done that is. Plans are already underway to get rid of this silly cow as the Tories are not happy bunnies at all about this 'move' and it seems that the man it will affect most (the Chancellor) was absolutely clueless about the event! I say affect most because it is "his" coffers that will suffer immense depravation of wonga, wedge, moula, readies (whatever you term it) as the black marketeers make hay with this chance in a million handed to them on a plate. And fair play to them for that I say as it serves the Camoron and his spineless set of nematodes right as the Treasury's finances suffer yet again - but this time from self inflicted stupidity. The Adam Smith Institute tell it how it is..... right here.

Ellison, the glorymongreleress!
Her tenure may well be short lived anyway as she enjoyed a 'massive' 6,000 majority in the 2010 GE as Battersea turned against Labour, but this time the world is turning against the useless liars, cheats & charlatans known collectively as "Our Government"! Repeal Labours ridiculous laws??? righty ho then folks-name a couple! Our friend Frank D has summed it up perfectly about 3/4 of the way down his superb piece. The Institute of Ideas sum it it up quite neatly too. What the Tories have finally come to grips with is the fact that pubs/clubs are still cosing at the rate of 26-29 per week, the coffers at the Treasury are starting to thin out..... rapidly as each closure forces more pressure on our Welfare System that is already under great strain courtesy of endless immigration. Perhaps the goodly people of Battersea will vote this 'bitch on heat' into the nearby dog-pound in May??? Please!
You see folks, people that don't frequent pubs have absolutely no idea of the social cohesion these place create. People who simply like walking about, art & TV watching would have no idea of what the common man might enjoy. Well, thats the 'plain' ugly dealt with folks!
The 'bad' is a simple matter to identify as Amjad Bashir has dug himself rather a large hole me fears. The UKIP leading spokesperson defected to the Tories and 'call me Dave' welcomed him with open arms - I'll bet those arms aren't spread quite so wide now though as it seems that some "Amjad-bashing" by the media has turned up some rather surprising facts. Amjad Bashir is not a happy bunny, that's for sure!
Ukip MEP Amjad Bashir suspended
Is this the finger of GUILT I ask?
As Joseph surely had a coat of many colours it seems that Amjad has many party memberships (revoked) & affiliations as the media dig deeper & deeper into this mans mysterious background. Awkward questions are now being asked by the many and Amjad has already resorted to using the trump card - racism!
Not quite sure how this will pan out for the Bradford & Manchester restauranteur but I'm not placing any bets on political longevity at this moment in time. Furthermore, I fear that old 'open arms Dave' is going to wish that he hadn't opened them in the first place; after all, who needs more egg on face when already submerged in the stuff? All of this leaves only the good..... and it is good!
The calls for OUT of the flailing EU are growing stronger & stronger as each day passes - thankfully. Peter Bone, Philip Hollobone & Co held a 'mini referendum' and found that 80% wanted to leave the sinking ship. Well Dave, what do you think of that my son? After all, these merry men are in your dysfunctional party!
One of the main reasons we need to be out of course is the massive immigration problem we now have - and this has caused many unforseen situations..... such as this --> 'woman' walks into my branch of the NatWest Bank in Oadby (Leicester) and demanded money, holding what seemed to be a fire-arm. Trouble is of course that it was male, fully bedecked with Burka, sunglasses etc so that no one could possible recognise this 'walking bin bag'. As it happens he should have asked me first and I would have told him that monies are now in counting machines underneath the counter so his/her entire effort was somewhat futile from the 'getgo'. If Camoron had a pair he would outlaw  face coverings as france have had the good sense to do. Of course this is only one problem we face as multiculturalism is causing a multitude of problems all round. Children are one of the problems and it is a poor state of affairs when it is declared that Muhammad is now the top boys name re registrations. How sad is that I ask? Don't get me wrong and start yawping 'racist' at me, because I'm not. But it galls me that in a country that has fought and won two World Wars, it is scandalous that so called politicians like Blair can allow this once great country to be completely over-run by other nationalities. Surely that makes Blair nothing less than a traitor to his people.
"Why should I bother about Britain? - I made my pile, sod you lot!"
I espied some good news on the TV (of all places) tonight as it showed that with 100 days to go before the GE, Dudley North was looking increasingly marginal as UKIP have increased their share to 22% - and with people like Bill Etheridge & his wife Star fighting for UKIP I think there is a great chance for UKIP to break through in Dudley. What a smack in the face for labour that will be!
Warwick could easily go as well as the Tories are only defending a 31/2K majority-all to play for then folks.
Also, that which is exceedingly good news, for the ailing pub industry & consumers alike, UKIP have declared war on the ridiculous smoking ban! Yes, much to the horror of ASH, CRUK, FRESH et al, UKIP have declared that smoking WILL return in pubs/clubs etc and ventilation will be the order of the day. Common sense answer to a totally nonsensical law! Now watch the above named "charities" jump up & down, squawking like demented Banshee's! You see folks, what cannot be argued with is the fact that cancer rates have NOT reduced since 2007. Heart attack results were all fabricated by Jill Pell (as were asthma studies) and all the smoking ban has done is to kill off 15,000+ once perfectly viable businesses!
But of course it doesn't just end there as there are approximately 60 seats up for grabs (not that I'm saying UKIP can get 60 seats) but the fear factor is abundantly clear as the other parties far the rise of UKIP. This country needs change. This country wants change but has this country got the balls to vote for change?
There is only one way forward for this country!

  2. We have seen in Greece that people power can get the change they deserve, the lib/lab/cons have managed to get it Wrong for too many years and just look at the state this Country is in. The anti smoking Quangos and lobby have always got it wrong but refuse to see any sort of sense, shame on them. UKIPs support just grows and grows and a huge surprise at the GE is on the cards for the three failed parties, it is time for Change.

  3. Another excellent article Phil. When two thirds of respondents to a government survey 2012 state that they are against plain packaging, along with the police and customs officials surely the vote of MPs should reflect the view of their constituents. Shouldn't it ?
This is why there is no such thing as democracy in the UK MPs should not be left to vote in their own bias preferences as has happened yet again here. Only Ukip can change this lets hope they have a gripping election campaign, they did have in the European elections, this makes all the difference.
