     Well folks, we've all had our bit of fun, those of us elligible to vote this week have at any rate - and just look at the tremendous results! We have a landslide from the Tory party thanks to the good offices of their illustrious but completely idiotic leader Mr David Camoeron who has constantly derided the upstarts of the purple 

 

                            Yes Dave, you mighgt be asking the question "why are they odd?"

vest persuasion as a "pretty odd lot" and "fruitcakes and closet racists", as I suppose he is entitled to as the spokesman of the country  ruling party. But the problem is that all these 'pretty odd people' are now clubbing together and forcing the mighty Camoeron into a corner from which I doubt he will ever get out of-the damage has been done.

     You see folks, when you look at the toffee nosed, upper class twit from Oxford, what do you actually see? Certainly not a 'man on the street' type of creature (and despite his reassurances that he wanted to meet with the man on the street he blatantly shied away from every opportunity of such a venture), certainly not a man that listens to the people and certainly not a man that keeps to his pre-election promises! So, all in all our man who simply climbed the political ladder by not working, sits there in all his glory dictating what he thinks to plenty of people that no longer trust him! Not a savoury position really.

     Now then folks, in the purple corner we have a completely different kettle of fish, not a 'codpiece' either, nor a 'stuck up prig'!  In fact, in the 'purple corner' we have the opposite of "Mr Shifty" (pictured up top finger wagging). In fact, having had the pleasure of meeting Nigel Farage when he arrived in Leicester I can assure everyone that he IS the real deal. There are no pretensions, there is none of the "Bull Shit" that the Tories seem so fond of spouting at every occasion. You cannot help but like the man and there is very little that he says that you can actually argue with-unless your name is Deborah Arnott or some equally minded pond life creature attached to the hate division of this country. Plenty of door knocking on the Eyres Monsell estate before retiring to the Old Horse public house on the London Road and then off for more of the same and to be honest I don't think that many of the inhabitants could believe that "that UKIP man off of the tele was talkin' on me doorstep", but indeed he was. Nigel's responses to even the simplest of questions were straight to the point, no political waffle and certainly no "BS" - and I think that alone baffled many!

     I suppose that people are now so conditioned to hearing unmitigated crap spewing forth from politicians mouths that it is expected from every politician or budding politician that comes along! Well folks it's all change time as a man who speaks the truth is about to rise to the top whilst others bleat monotonously about the same old bilge.

'Call me Dave' assured us that immigration would be capped - we are now in fear of 29,000,000 Bulgarians & Romanians assaulting our shores!

'Call me Dave' and his schoolboy assistant assured us that they would repeal the most objectionable of Labours laws - LIARS, LIARS, UR PANTS ARE ALL ON FIRES ! Clegg, being a complete muppet, bowed to the pressure of the hate mongerers and ignored any moves on the smoking ban whatsoever thus setting some 15,000,000 people against them from the very start and what have they done since? Passed an idiotic law that has made supermarkets put bloody great shutters all over the cigarette counters just so that the chiiildren can't see the packs on display. It is comical watching the staff fighting with these shutters every 2 minutes as yet another smoker buys his desired pack of twenty. 

     Of course all the consultations that went into this move were bogus but were sanctioned by Camoeron for the man is weak and cares not that open discrimination against 25% of his voters is being ordained. I truly think that it is mainly the internet 'hue & cry' concerning the Plain Packaging farce that has resulted in this weak, pathetic leader of ours declaring that this particular move will NOT be part of the forthcoming Queens speech - and after the much publicised, totally corrupt practices involved by the proponents of this measure I am not surprised that this has been withdrawn!

     Let's see, we have Dame Sally Davies blatantly lying about the 'apparent success' of the Australian decision to use 'PP' after having a secret, cosy dinner with her Aussie counterpart.

We have the atrocious creature known as the Arnott blatantly manipulating email responses to the PP appeal and to round it all off we had a discussion in London recently where Keith Barron (anti tobacco nutter) and his sidekick were up against Ian Paisley Jnr and his sidekick. Barron & Co had absolutely no proof that 'PP' worked - so why aren't all these people being charged with fraud and/or deception? Where are our bobbies when we need them? 
     And to top it all off a treat we now have the anti tobacco mob screaming as if their testicles have been yanked off because Dave has halted 'PP'! Oh diddley-boo, something didn't go their way for once!
     Why are these disgraceful people allowed to walk the corridors of power when they blatantly lie & cheat to get their own way? Oh dear, I've just realised the answer folks..... 'if is to medically benefit the nation', anything & everything is OK! Now 'snipering' the Arnott would definitely be a benefit to the country but I somehow doubt that such an action would be considered OK-because the now corrupt law of this land only works for certain people! Shame really because discrimination is against the law but Arnott & Co seem to have a 'free pass' on that one as well!
     So you see folks, all the above is why Mr Farage might well find himself in a position of some power at the next General Election, we certainly hope so! You see folks, more and more normal, ordinary, run of the mill people are beginning to realise that UKIP & Nigel Farage are the only party speaking the truth. The Conservatives lie continuously (we had that referendum promise 3 years ago Dave!), the Labour party got this country in so much doggie doos that they jokingly left a note saying "sorry there's nothing left"  and the useless LibDems are so ineffectual that they might as well try and run the Tynwald !
     The mere fact that UKIP racked up 26% of the vote speaks volumes to me, and no doubt to 'call me Dave' who by now must be seriously regretting his scornful dismissal of the purple vested mob led by Mr Geniality himself. The problem for Camoeron now is that his dismissive snobbery of the fruitcakes & loonies has not only come back to bite him on the backside, it's taken a mighty chunk out of that backside! It gets worse because 'heavyweight' cigar chomping minster (now without porfolio) Ken Clarke weighed in with "collection of clowns" and more bizarrely, other ministers unwisely joined in! They had obviously forgotten what happened in Italy recently-and Beppe Grillo only managed 25% of the vote! Nigel Farage has 26% and growing! This probably why:-

Grammar Schools.... Bring them back, education is pivotal !
Foriegn Aid.............. Slaughter it before we need it!

NHS.......................... Save not slaughter!
     and much much more. No wonder Nigel Farage went on an exhausting and very well received  "Common Sense" tour of Britain.

Cameron has pulled this idiotic idea from next weeks Queens speech as he finally starts to grasp the concept that people simply aren't happy with what he and his chummy chums in Westminster are doing. I think that he has finally concluded that he and his diminishing 'loyal' followers are not only losing the plot and losing Britain to the EU masterdons (masterwankers actually!) but losing supporters at ground floor level by the hundreds. Maybe these local council elections will tell us that the departures are now by the thousands instead! I think that they will. Guido certainly thinks so as he has been galloping round London availing himself of even money UKIP getting 50 seats-and I happen to think that he is bang on the button too.

OK, so the report was in the Sun, but they do have an ear close to the political ground and friend Snowdon has also picked up on this straight away and quotes "“Plain packaging may or may not be a good idea, but it’s nothing to do with the Government’s key purpose. The PM is determined to strip down everything we do so we can concentrate all our efforts on voters’ essentials. That means growth, immigration and welfare reform.” ( does that also include getting rid of these disgraceful quangos then?) And does this now mean that the Chief Medical Lying Officer (professor Dame Sally Davies) is relieved from duties? After all, if she can't tell the truth then she should not be in a position of power-c'mon Dave, kick this bitch out please!

 Now to Simple Simon that is a translation from "I think we've made a right codball of things so far chummy chums, so we had better do something the people actually want us to do!" If I'm wrong I apologise but I somehow don't think I am for I am damned sure that  everybody's friend 'call me Dave' has finally realised that the "party comprising of loonies and fruitcakes" has finally come to 'bite him on his ass'! I forget where it was but yesterday some poll or other put "Nigels Nutters" on 22%-but why are they "Nutters"?

It seems to me that Mr Farage has the full backing of the British people when it comes to stopping the immigration rot, after all, most people nowadays, with a modicum of intelligence can see the colossal damage being done whilst we have Blairs contempt for this country openly displayed every time a fresh immigrant arrives!

As my readers well know, I was never a political animal until 6 years ago but what I have seen in those 6 years disgusts me to the very core. I have lost faith in most politicians because they only seem to want to feather their own nests - and the law (?) well, dear oh dear me, the law has been completely corrupted in order to impress 'smoke ban laws' upon the people; even the innocent. The law is in place to give justice a basis upon which we all learn right from wrong, but not anymore as prosecutions regarding anything 'smoking' are dealt with in a completely different way. I remember one gem from a magistrate, " I believe you are a very credible witness, but I believe that she (the EHO who was 88ft away from her victim at the time the allegations were made) is more credible"! Now how's about that one folks? Never mind the old maxim 'innocent until proven guilty' or even 'beyond reasonable doubt', they have gone right out of the window since July 1st, 2007. In any sane court of law, this case would have been thrown out through lack of evidence-and there are more like this, believe me there are more!

But back to todays elections where all sane people can only hope that Camoron gets slaughtered and loses the proposed 500+ seats. All sane people can also hope that Ed the Millibrain also loses 'x' number of seats as he is another complete waste of space who sees us as part of some EU superpower and as for the Il-liberal un-dems, well, frankly, they don't deserve any seats whatsoever as Clegg should simply be exterminated for being a complete pratt! I think that Chris Huhne is the best example of Cleggs failing party - locked away for the people's safety!

So hopefully we shall see a big surge of the purple brigade as people do begin to see that this country has a way out of all this modern day lunacy where democracy is fast becoming a thing of the past and quangos hold 'the powers that be' to mental ransoms! Perhaps more than one party ought to check out the facts and the lies about tobacco & smoking!

Yesterday Mr Farage, head man of those so called loonies & fruitcakes stated that he would sort out the smoking ban which was both "silly and Illiberal". Yet again the man hits the nail absolutely smack bang on the head! Today of course there will be uproar from the flying pigs brigade, no doubt headed by insidious Arnott-who should be spit roasted for what she and her cohorts have cost this country with their crooked science rampaging.

It works out, overall, at approximately £1/2bn per month for all this anti smoking tomfoolery yet just as many people smoke now as did when they started-give or take a few dozen I suppose. Now just think how much good all that money would have done our once proud & majestic NHS. I remember seeing an article in the Leicester Mercury where the head man of Leicester Hospitals was crying over where to find the next months wages for all the staff employed-I answered the article by suggesting he ring 'Debs' and ask her as it was her that was spending all the monies in one way or another (it wasn't printed by the way). The hospitals (3 of them) needed to find £1m, Debs & Co were now costing the country £1/2bn per month, so as Nigel Farage says, it is a silly law (for people are ignoring it anyway and still smoking) and it IS totally illiberal. Something that Clegg never grasped in his early days when he could have made a difference and certainly secured confidence in his party from 15 million voters!

 

Without doubt Camoron has seen that he is well on his way out and he knows which ridiculously imposed law will eventually bankrupt this country, the man is not totally stupid despite his obvious appearance of being so. He also knows that if he pratts about anymore, not only is he going to lose 500+ local council seats he is going to lose council controls as well. Now what we need to hope for is an area where UKIP has a large following and can possibly gain control of the local council-there will be much 'poo'ing of the panties' in certain quarters if THAT happens because that will show, without a shadow of a doubt that the party of the "loonies & fruitcakes" have definitely arrived. Next stop Westminster!

On the subject of Westminster, let us just imagine that at the next general election and with present rates of 'exchange' amongst the parties and the general dissatisfaction of the 'man on the street' (who 'call me Dave' never bothered to talk to-the ignoramus!), what is so far fetched about the illib undems losing 15 seats, the EU friendly Labour mob losing 5 and the foundering Tories losing 15 seats too? I doubt the Greens would pick any up for they have proved to be a party full of nutters (not loonies mind, nor fruitcakes-just nutters) but you may find the odd independent copping for a seat which would leave the UKIP mob with the possibility of 30-34 seats in Westminster. Now that would shake the system up a bit!

 

May seem far fetched to many of you but why should the above events not happen-after all, the general public are now disillusioned with all three of the main parties and who can blame them? For those of you who think I'm crackers I'm sure that you'll be happy to lay me a tenner at 10,000/1 - and I'll 'pay on'!

The Danes have finally seen sense and repealed their silly laws which saw a massive increase in cross border shopping and most EU countries have given their smokers some sort of leeway as they recocognise the financial importance of such people in their societies. Our governments do too but they are scared pantless to upset the quangos & the WHO. The last mentioned, by the way, are now attempting to pressure nations into exterminating their tobacco plantations so as to reduce the available amounts of this humble, natural plant that millions of humans seem to enjoy. It doesn't matter to the WHO that entire nations will be pauperised, that's not their problem, they just want tobacco eradicated-mind you, 40 years ago they said the same about illegal drugs!

 The real beauty of todays elections is that this will give the people the opportunity to show Camoron that we always wanted 'that referendum' and that we would definitely opt OUT of that stinking pile of donkey plop known as the EU - after all, why would we want our banks raided just to keep some self imposed bunch of egomaniacs in the luxury they presently enjoy. What are they achieving whilst sitting in Brussels/Strasbourg exept angering the British people on a daily/weekly basis? At least David Cameron has, today, put the British people first by withdrawing that idiotic proposal of Plain Packaging for even he could see that to allow such after all the corrupt dealings by various MPs & lobby groups, the measure was deeply unpopular with the rank & file-not to mention of course that even more British jobs would be sacrificed for the sake of something that there is not one shred of evidence about!

Nice move Dave, but a bit late for today is the day that the UKIP surge really begins!

Will there always be an England ?

     As you all probably remember, I entered myself into our local NHS 'public' members group some time ago so as to keep tabs on what is occurring re smoking, illnesses & indoctrinations. Well, friday I attended a talk on breathing problems, fully expecting that smoking would be the cause of all breathing related illnesses/ailments etc. I was not disappointed at all as 'our young lady' (we'll call her Anne for ease of reference) ploughed through the various lung conditions (all caused, majorly, by smoking) until it was time for questions. A couple of people mentioned mining as a cause, building works, industrial painting, installing loft insulations etc as possible causes of lung infections, to which 'Anne' got quite excited at the audience participation - until I asked the obvious! Exhaust fumes? Anne immediately looked uncomfortable as I pointed out, quite politely, that many people did not take up smoking until their mid teens yet lung damage had already 'gotten well underway' courtesy of dirty, filthy, highly toxic exhaust fumes being drawn into very young lungs as soon as the mothers stepped outside their front door. Now this did not go down well at all and it transpired that this speech was not what she had thought of herself but a speech based totally on that which SHE had been taught herself! 
     In other words, Anne had been indoctrinated with misinformation which she (probably quite innocently) happily passes on to others.- because that is what she has been taught to do!. reminds me of the medical student I spoke to some months ago who told me of the daily mantra on the blackboard greenboard at medical school, which basically stated that all illnesses were to be smoking related illnesses! It's easy to see where this corrupted world is going isn't it folks? DOWNHILL with everything being related to cost.
     Funny that one of the attendees mentioned mining, for that is an industry virtually killed off through sheer pig headedness & unprofitability although there are/were a few mines still functioning. However, 'Scottish Coal' who operated six open cast mines, yesterday closed 50% of them as they cannot make them pay-now there's a thing! I assume Arthur Scargill will be up there like a shot and ready to bring Brussels to it's knees because in his mind unprofitability means nothing at all. Another 590 jobs lost with very little hope of re-employment for the majority-marvellous work by the EU & the SNP - can't wait to see what happens if they vote for independence and then become part of the giant SS EU Titanic.
     And talking of lunacy, my good friend Roger Helmer points out the absurdity of EU logic this week-not to mention the imbecility of some of our MEPs who obviously 'go with flow' irrespective of job losses and the diminishing jobs market! However, necessity has often been called the mother of invention-as we see here!
     This weeks funeral of Lady Thatcher threw up an interesting fact: the great lady had cancer of the bladder-although that wasn't the actual cause of death. Interesting that all the anti smoking agencies refrained from mentioning the small fact that a non smoker had cancer, don't you think?

      And whilst on the subject of medical matters we find that dear friend Godfrey Bloom has unearthed more truths as he reports that "EU smoking regulations are lead by BIG PHARMA". Now there's a thing I bet they didn't want to come  to the fore. ASH/Crook/CRUK/FRESH et al will not be voting for Godfrey after this revelation methinks. 

      Worse is to come as we now have a research scientist (and I use the term very loosely indeed) who has found himself in gaol for a miserable three months for 'falsifying results' on 'experimental drugs'. I tell you this, the medical world, or parts of it, know no depths to which it will plummet - and this research was for drugs to possibly assist CANCER patients! Perhaps it would be a fair guess that Steven Eaton, 47, a researcher for US pharmaceutical firm Aptuit, was an anti smoking nutter and therefore the cancer victims "had to be smokers", whether they actually were or not. Perhaps in his twisted mind, cancer patients were merely guinea-pigs for his amusement! Who knows the minds of these people (?) for many of them are seriously warped. Perhaps the pharmaceutical giant Aptuit wanted to be ahead of the market, as were Pfizer with Chantix, and make their fortune from those less fortunate, who knows for sure? One thing that is for sure is the words of the Judge/Sheriff who said,  

"I feel that my sentencing powers in this are wholly inadequate. You failed to test the drugs properly – you could have caused cancer patients unquestionable harm."

     Luckily for Mr 'slimeball' Eaton, the Sheriff was only permitted, by law, to sentence him to a mere 3 months-funny how the law protects some of our miscreants.
     Also this week, as Godfrey Bloom slams the EU, which incidentally, is now costing this country a small fortune as it slides into financial oblivion itself, 

     Nigel Farage stood up for this country at EU HQ and blasted the EU (watch & listen) as "Common Criminals"! What's more is the fact that he absolutely correct, for the theft of monies from private bank accounts in Cyprus is literally Bonnie & Clyde style self funding without the armament!  
     That this self styled European 'superpower' is disintegrating before their very own eyes seems not to matter to these pompous asses and there is an almost Hitler like mania about succeeding at any cost so it will be interesting to see what happens with Spain, Italy, Portugal, Eire-and eventually all the rest of this so called superstate! If Camoron cannot see that we need to be out of this financial cesspit, as of right now, then I can only charge the man with secretly being in the pay of the Bilderbergs or the NWO - am I right Dave? There is absolutely no benefit to us being part of this ever mounting EU dungheap yet 'our cherished leader' keeps putting off the inevitable referendum. The only reason that you do not take us out of this sinking ship is because of personal financial gain-that's all it can be! I'll expect your full response in 72 hrs please otherwise I shall have to take it that you cannot answer because I am right!
     As the anti smoking fraternity puff out their chests in self righteousness it seems that the 'e-cig' is causing something of a stir once more as some anti smokers declare them to be evil "because they look like smoking" (strange phenomenon that!) and some see them as an excellent 'quit smoking' device. In actual fact they are both, but they are a damned sight better than the real thing and for those who object to smoking/smokers it simply shows that they are not in this war on smokers for health reasons at all-they hate smoking/smokers! I wonder if the likes of Arnott, Bauld, Dockrell et al will 'go' in hypocrisy by gracing their respective local crematoriums when their time comes or simply clog up our graveyards with their putreyfying remains?
     In this world of ever increasing lunacy  Brighton and Hove could become the first city in the country to offer safe, clean havens for addicts to use illegal drugs under professional supervision without fear of prosecution if the proposal moves forward. That being the case there is no need to set up 'Clean Havens' for smokers as they are already readily available! They are called pubs & clubs (another 2 clubs closed last month) and with the majority having two rooms (at least) there isn't a problem for non smokers-who would obviously stay in the 'unclean haven'! After all, just think how many smokers could be weaned off the 'evil weed' if they had a safe 'Clean haven' in which to be encouraged to do so. I wonder how this works with smoked drugs?

 Patrick Hayes, who spoke magnificently against the lunatic proposal by one (ex) Councillor Bartlett in Stoney Stratford has identified the next possible move by the anti smoking gestapo-lunatic asylums for the mentally ill!
     Now if that doesn't take you back to the heady days of Adolf Hitler's mentally disturbed regime then you really have been indoctrinated to the max! Apparently, people with mental health problems are twice as likely to smoke as not-probably because smoking is such a relaxing & pleasurable past-time, but the nutters in power want to transpose this small fact into you must have mental health issues if you choose to smoke! Why must you? And who the hell are they to decide such? It transpires that the RCP are behind this move so we can expect more pressure to bear on government to build more mental health complexes so as to house more mental health patients-smokers! It doesn't get much more than this folks! Just think about it for a moment: RCP scream blue murder: government obliges: 13-15million people become incarcerated as mental health patients: industry grinds to a standstill: healthcare employess treble to cope with demand: country produces zilch, no exports, no produce etc: country grinds to a halt: no money being earned to fill the Treasury: healthcare's excessive number of workers cannot now be payed: country grinds to a shuddering halt!

     The famous song stated that there would always be an England - but now the health fascists are entrenched I do seriously wonder for how long?

     It truly amazes me how some people, in fact many millions of people, fail to see 'that which is staring them in the face'! Let's be contentious and upset a few 'die-hards' from years gone by shall we, including, most probably, the father-in-law.

     A great British leader died this week, a lady that dragged this country up by its bootlaces with her own brand of a 'no nonsense approach' to all matters facing her. Let's get the miners strike out of the way first. The industry was dying on its feet (so to speak), pits had been closing at an alarming rate as it was and the industry was leaking money by the £million but 'King Arthur' (Scargill) decided to wage war on "that woman" and bring the government to its knees. Oh dear me.

'King Arthur' failed to realise that cold, hard economics meant that he could not win and I always remember the absolute hypocrisy of thousands of 'blind sheep' miners queueing up for food/soup handouts whilst waiting for 'the great man' to address the striking mob-after being chauffeur driven to the event in his Mercedes!     Mrs Thatchers no nonsense approach also saw the 'Argies' flatpacked in very short order as she instinctively forced Galtieri's mob to withdraw from any claim regarding the Falkland Island who, funnily enough, only weeks ago voted to stay British in a referendum-now where's our referendum on europe? Few know it but she also paved a way for our escape from this EU madness so long may the lady rest in peace.

     However, it seems that British culture is changing, and at an alarming pace, for respect for the dead seems to have gone out of the window as street parties CELEBRATING the death of a former Prime Minister have been taking place - in Trafalgar Square of all places!

But I'm afraid that we find that too many things are changing and far too rapidly for millions, who basically take no notice anyway, to even notice! That being the case and their now being a complete lack of respect in this country I don't think anyone will begrudge me dancing a jig when the Arnott, the Dockrell or the Duffy or even the lying Bauld are diagnosed with cancer as they become part of the 889 per day statistic! 
     For instance, has anyone noticed that the World Health Organisation want to impose measures to wipe out Zimbabwe's tobacco production? In Zimbabwe tobacco is like gold, it is a major export, it is a way of life for the impoverished inhabitants of this country, it is their lifeline to survival. In Zimbabwe four million people (diretly & indirectly) rely on tobacco crops for their livelyhoods - thats 1/3rd of the population! Yet the WHO, in their inane desire to eradicate tobacco from the planet, have decided that tobacco crops must be eradicated. They (the WHO) cite  "health reasons and environmental damage as reasons for proposing a ban on tobacco." Now we know that the WHO have blamed tobacco/smoking for virtually every malady know to man (and a few more yet to come) but this is way past extreme. I suppose that as the WHO ignore the dying millions in Africa a few more million left to slowly die makes no dofference, after all, we are talking about tobacco here!  How can you respect these people?
     When they failed to eradicate illegal drugs why did they not eradicate the plants (in various countries) that lead to these drugs being widely available - or didn't Margaret Chan fancy taking on the numerous Pablo Escobar types in this world? Funny isn't it, political power they can wield & deal with but physical power/threats and they 'pooh their collective panties'! How can you respect these people?
     Talking of smoking being the cause of all ills known to man (according to the anti tobacco mob) it's interesting to note that Sandra Moon, one of Huntsville, Alabama's council members who cast the deciding vote to ban smoking in most Huntsville restaurants has died at the tender age of 66 - from pancreatic cancer. How strange that a non smoker who voted to destroy plenty of local businesses should die of cancer!
     Back home we find that smoking bans are still having a serious effect on businesses as Punch report that sales are down another £4.2m (to March 2nd) against the same period last year-they blamed the weather! "The weather is partly to blame", but then had the buffoons at Punch not agreed to a total smoking ban in the first place, they could have had smokers in one room and non smokers in another in most of their pubs!

Yes folks, CHOICE was an option, but an option that was never considered! So when Punch keep on losing the odd £4.2m here & there, do not shed a tear for them as they deserve to die a long, slow financially painful death for not standing up for their best customers! How can you respect these people?
     When you think about it, the WHO will not care about Punch Taverns 'going under' and thousands of people being forced out of work because all that matters to them is that tobacco (the root of all medical evil apparently) must be eradicated. They do not concern themselves with the finer points of financial survival as they are still getting their money from all donating nations-worldwide; now I happen to think that these global parasites need this funding to be stopped immediately and then let's see how many donations they get-especially from nations that they wish to radically impoverish with their anti tobacco plans! They deserve no respect at all.
     On the subject of tobacco a Spanish study has revealed:

 Up to 2009 there is no statistically significant evidence of any reduction in smoking amongst men -- and very little evidence of a reduction in smoking amongst women -- resulting from the introduction of EU minimum tax legislation in Spain in 2006. This is despite the price of cigarettes rising up to three times faster than before the legislation came into effect, according to a new study published online in the journal Nicotine and Tobacco Research.

Now there's a thing folks! People who enjoy smoking are still enjoying smoking, surprise surprise. The report goes on to say: 

 "Member States should be proactive in this regard if they wish to successfully implement the WHO Framework Convention guidelines on taxation."

The logical question is 'why should they continue to be proactive'? It has already cost this country £32bn and roughly 23%-25% still choose to smoke so all the denormalisation, stigmatisation & general legally enforced bullying has got the 'powers that be' absolutely nowhere - except a deficit of £32bn which would have seriously helped our much beleagured NHS. In fact, many more truthful people would deem the whole experiment similar to the ill fated "Sinclair C5" - and abysmal disaster! 
     The good news, for some, is that despite all these silly bans some people are happily making a nice profit from selling 'illegal cigarettes', and fair play to them for that! It would seem that the North Koreans have found a ready made market in China for their tobacco products, and seeing as there happens to about 300,000,000 little Chinese people galloping about all over the place there are plenty of profits to be made. How's that grab you Margaret Chan? Fancy your own people dishing it right up to you in your own back yard, how appropriate. They've got no respect for you either!

     Another study has found that the latest campaign to ban smoking in cars carrying children has no basis whatsoever ( a bit like the Plain packaging campaign then)! Ooh-er government, what do you make of that I wonder?  UCD’s study, published in this month’s Irish Medical Journal and reported in today’s Irish Independent, says that an observation of 2,230 drivers found that just 31 drivers – 1.39% – were smoking while driving. Wow! Now those are serious figures which will no doubt lead to £millions being spent to justify introducing a law banning smoking in all cars, not just cars with brats in! Let's not kid ourselves, 'they' are not interested in whether children are in cars or not, 'they' simply think that banning smoking in cars is the next logical step in the eradication (so 'they' think) of the evil plant. From this we can assume that 98.61% of people don't smoke with kids in their cars-the application of common sense is a marvellous tool really! And as Eire has already been bailed out I don't really see the point of them wasting anymore money on this ludicrous tobacco war-especially as they are 'properly skint! perhaps 'fatty' Reilly could contact me and explain the regressive economics to me in relation to tobacco savagery! How can you respect these buffoons?

'Vaping' has grown enormously since the smoking bans were introduced, and rightly so too. As I've said many times before, people are either born to smoke or not! It is not for some jumped up organisation to dictate how each person lives their life. Vaping, or smoking electronic cigarettes, has become the live-wire of the moment as people strive to find a way to lessen their cigarette usage but still get the enjoyment from 'smoking'. Personally I think they are a marvellous invention, both medically & socially-though some idiotic pub chains refuse to allow them on their premises "because they look like smoking" or "they may induce others to smoke real cigarettes". How pathetic is that for a reason? Of course they look like smoking because they are the substitute for smoking and if more breweries like "Acorn" & "Geeves" from the Barnsley area welcomed 'vapers' then our pubs & clubs might just start to see an upturn in their dwindling fortunes. That would certainly apply to Everards, a brewery that wholeheartedly backed the smoking ban and even went so far as to write to No10/Dept of Health advocating such. Amazing now, nearly 6 years later, just how many Everards pubs have been sold for re-development, closed down, demolished, rented out to other breweries. It's also amazing that, at last, Everards have had to bite the bullet and drastically reduce rents so as to get tenants 'in' as customer bases decline more and more-I wonder if "Sir Richard" is still awaiting the influx of 'clean air drinkers' as promised by spinmeister Blair? I just cannot fathom how anyone could have stood for that 'silly slobber' and wantonly voted 68% of his best customers out into the cold, cheerless great outdoors but fully expect them to keep coming back for more! Such people deserve no respect at all.

     And whilst we are on about the employment crisis, how about this in America (well it always starts over there!):   

Twenty-nine U.S. states have passed legislation prohibiting employers from refusing to hire job candidates because they smoke, but 21 states have no such restrictions.

     So, in 21 states of America they are happy to discriminate against smokers yet the unemployment situation over there is worse than ours! Seems that Nero & Obama may be closely related!
     There is one bit of good news however, even though the insidious creature known as IDS (Ian Duncan Smith) tries to steal 'bedroom tax' off the most needy (must feel quite strange for this ex-dole'ite turned MP) as an intrepid pair from north of the border have joined their English counterparts by building their own little pub & socialising centre at the bottom of their garden! And why not indeed? In fact, I think that all people who enjoy a drink or two, or like socialising the way socialising should be done and has been for centuries, should build their own little haven at the bottom of the garden-let the great British pubs die, why not (?), they never 'stood up' for the smokers when needed!

 

     Do you need a license? NO-end of problem. Can you or your friends smoke or vape away to your hearts content? YES-end of problem. Can you charge for drinks? NO-but you can accept donations toward the costs at a later date, end of problem.

      So whilst these pathetic, overpaid killjoys at the 'top table' in Geneva sit and squabble over what punitive measures to introduce next so as to darken our daily existences further, just think to yourselves that we are a pretty resilient species and if the anti tobacco mob do eventually wipe out all our social centres we have the know-how and the ingenuity to build our own little social centres that don't need licensing, don't need taxing or be subject to idiotic anti smoking rules or even anti vaping rules and don't contribute to government coffers at all. Now then, just how much more can this government afford to lose from businesses whilst dishing out £53,000,000 per week to the greedy little gremlins attempting to ruin run the EU?
